Welcome to Tollerton Surgery

Tollerton Surgery is long established in the village of Tollerton. According to records there has been a Medical Practice in the village for more than a hundred years, providing health services to the villages of Tollerton, Aldwark, Alne, Flawith, Huby, Newton on Ouse, Linton on Ouse, Shipton by Beningborough and Tholthorpe. Our boundaries extending as far as into Easingwold, up to the River Ouse, and down to the Ring Road and we are happy to register patients from any of these areas.

We are a small practice and as such aim to provide a personal service tailored to the individual and families, following as much as possible the traditional GP role of the family doctor. Our stable and committed team of medical and ancillary staff get to know our patients well. We believe this personal touch is of great benefit to everyone. However, we also work very closely with other local practices in the North Locality which allows us to keep up to date, share local knowledge and create strong links with community and specialist services. We are also part of the SHaR PCN (South Hambleton and Ryedale Primary Care Network) a group of 7 local GP Practices, which allows us to pool resources and skills for larger projects and innovations, as well as allowing us to play an active part within the Vale of York Clinical Commissioning Group and the wider health economy.
